Dear Readers,

Clarkson’s Blog is finally back to life, but it was hard, and not without losses.

As everybody can see, there are some posts missing. I am still trying to recover the backup of the database I had done a few months ago, when I put the website on the new Hoster. I managed to restore only part of the database, since the backup is physically stored on another PC, which at the moment is not here with me. I will get it back on the week end, I hope.

There is, though, a major innovation on how the website will be administered and “filled” up with news and posts: I gave access as authors to all my brothers and sisters (my brother in Mexico already posted) and they will be, this is the hope, insert their posts autonomously.

Reason behind this is that in this way we manage to get info on each other in a more steadily way, having the possibility to share comments and ideas, news and views on family facts even when we are not all online simultaneously. I hope that they all get to start writing…

Well, this is it. If I manage to restore the database backup and all is fine with it, I’ll delete and rewrite this post. If not, the Clarkson’s Blog restarts officially with this same post. Sorry for the inconvenience.
